The Shanghai Tower is located in the Lujiazui functional area of Pudong, Shanghai, covering an area of more than 30,000 square meters. The architectural design plan was completed by the American Gensler architectural design firm. The main building structure is 580 meters high and the total height is 632 meters. It consists of a main building with 118 floors above ground, a podium with 5 floors and a basement with 5 floors. The total construction area is 576,000 square meters. The total weight is about 800,000 tons.
